Everything Happens for a Reason

I now have a moment to ponder how my life has flown by the last few months, enough time to write a bit about it.

June
A lot of anticipation was put into going to Durango, my Mom's choice resting place. Prepping the maps and information created an air of excitement but the realization of why we were going set in about a day before we left. This was supposed to be a little exciting, I hadn't been to Durango in about 10 years and Jose had not ever been outside the state, except to Vegas. We took off late at night to avoid traffic and Jose pretty much drove the entire way there. Our time in Durango was short but it is such a small town, that was ok. Jose and I were hoping to relax a little bit but that's not what other people wanted to do so we headed down south to visit Grandma. Phoenix was friggin' hot!!! So hot it was difficult to breathe. Again, we wished we could have stayed longer but that's not what ended up happening. We drove back, dropped off the boys and decided we were going to stay in Big Bear for a couple of days to get the relaxation we needed. We were so happy when we found out that Jesus and Letti were going to come visit us. We only stayed for two nights but it was worth it and we can't wait to go back again.

My Birthday!!! I turned 25.... It sounds so old.... but I don't feel it....
Also, we had started to look for a house that will fit our needs and the needs of Jose's parents. I didn't know this then but it would be a stressful couple of months...

August
We found a house in Corona that has everything we need and more... An offer was submitted and papers were signed... Now we only have to wait to make sure it all goes through ok...

September
The house is waiting and all we need is to fill the pool... All the papers are signed and we jsut need to show the bank that the pool can be filled, the problem is, it has to be fixed before it can be filled. All in all we are being told that October 3rd is the move-in date. We can't wait and we already have so many plans for our room and what we want to do with it.

That is a summary of everything that happened the last few months. Not too exciting but enough to make me tired and stressed. We can't wait until the house thing is done with and we can finally settle in but, in the words of my Mother and Jose, everything happens for a reason.
